  3. I had forgotten how nice that afternoon was.
    It started with martins legendary 30 min drive from the city to holly.
    And pretty much ended up with a fur-ball that will probably never be seen again.
    What a nice arvos flying that was.

  6. I know the feeling! at least you're not getting hairy palms! The farmer have done extensive clearing up at Holly and is looking to mow the patch too, he's more than happy for us to fly there :)

    I love holly hill, as thats where I used to go with my dad back in the 70's.
    I must get to thurnham at some point to fly my ascot.

  8. yes it is isn't it! the guy cam eand had a chat with some of the flyers at the end of last year, might be worth us getting him a bottle of scotch of something next xmas if we can find out where he lives

    not many months before we'll be getting some decent thermals up at the 'mighty' Thurnham...it'd be good to see you up there showing us how it's done Jon!
