cobwebs blown

A big thank you to Charlie for motivating us to get our turkey laden
backsides off the sofa and up the slope. A record turnout this year
with as many as 20 foamies in the air at one point.

Great to see a mix of regulars, old friends and new faces
(if the truth be told, maybe not so great to see some of the regulars).

lining up on the starting grid

With true British politeness, everyone waits their turn...

and queues patiently until.....

oh f##k it's a no deal slopexit!

point camera randomly in the sky and this is what you get....

.....see!

The hearty thwak of foam on foam.

An exit poll indicated that 75% of the UK's total
slope soaring fraternity was in attendance. Let's see
if we can beat that next year!

  1. A big thank you to you Paul for advertising the meeting on Goodwind Soaring. I think that it has become a unique event which is possibly the best attended slope soaring competition in the country in 2018? more than attend a prestigious F3F event! More importantly, everyone went home happy, although I think Simon was trying to hide a small sulk after having his model broken!
