Wye so misty

What better slot for a half hour work meeting than at 4pm.....especially when it takes place within half a mile of a flyable hill!

The only fly in the ointment is the mist that keeps rolling in over the ridge. As we all know, trying to keep a model in sight whilst drifting in and out of the clag adds an element of excitement to any sloping sortie, so it's time to man up, toss off and squint hard!

rigging on a rig

An interesting aside from the usual crop of slender bodied F3F machines is Mr Phillips' latest acquisition. The moulds were constructed about a decade or so ago on an oil rig in the North Sea and only recently has a run of models been pulled from them.

Lovely retro lines and interesting little sub-fin arrangement, it's even got a late eighties inspired colour scheme!
