That explains it. Hopefully he'll be able to repair the eagle.
Opposite problem from my latest flight mishap. My little Ember 2 got carried away (2nd time I've lost one) by the wind when I let it get too high. I was flying in a park in a questionable neighborhood and didn't want to knock on doors or climb fences. :-) From now on I'll fly my heavier planes and also put my phone number on the fuselage.
Beautiful when it was flying.
ReplyDeleteDo you know what caused it to nose in like that?
John
Hello John
DeleteThe builder said that he'd removed some area from the underside fins and thinks this caused a loss of stability
That explains it. Hopefully he'll be able to repair the eagle.

I've seen the odd one disappear in a thermal before....yes phone number is a good idea, even better if you add 'reward if found'!
